C. Meredith Nicolls, Jr., chef and owner of the popular Cafe Rosso in Norfolk, was seriously injured on October 31 in a bicycle race in Richmond. Paralyzed below the shoulders, he has been hospitalized at MCV, The Shepherd Center in Atlanta and the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veteran's Center in Richmond. After fourteen months in hospitals, Meredith is currently living at home in Norfolk with his wife Kathy. This web site is for the many friends, family members, and supporters who have rallied to help Meredith and his wife, Kathy, through this extremely difficult time--and continue to be a source of support for them.
